Consider

To think and ponder a situation or time is dangerous mentally/ to weigh out every possibility and consider the worse is self inflicting. We have got to see people and situations for the beauty in each foremost because if all our minds jump to are the bad aspects, our hearts become closed off and bitterness grows like a thorn growing into a heartless individual; someone that is hard to love by another. 

I dont even know

I am the queen of overthinking, the master of thinking I know what's coming next...when in all reality I have no idea and end up assuming the worse, or a replay of a previous situation. I compare and make myself upset just by doing so. I never shutup inwardly even though I seem quiet on the outside. I say things I regret and go farther than I mean to. I doubt people and have a hard time trusting them even when their good to me. I have my ups and my downs and my reallly really good days that have me feeling on top of a mountain. I go day by day planning out the next, stressing over whatever is written down to do next when in all reality the Lord always takes care of me. I always fret and he places exactly what I need right in front of my face. Amazing how patient he is with us ...when we continually try to wheel and deal with things on our own while he consistently shows up right on time. Crazy this love.

dear daddy

Dear Daddy,

   I miss you as well. I know you are enjoying where God has placed you. You've been through a lot to get to this point and I've watched you along the way struggle between ups and downs. Your humble obedience throughout the years to put yourself out there in self denial has taught me what it means to trust God as well as to never quit. In fact, I think of you when I wanna just throw in the towel and it keeps me from giving in. I literally hear you screaming "embrace the suck" when I'm feeling weak as stupid as that may sound. You are such an inspiration, so hard core, so consistent to your character. You are tough yet gentle. And when you mess up, you always make it right; never letting things build up nor becoming bitter. I've learned a lot about what I need to look for in my future husband as well as what type of spouse to be as I watch the love for one another between you and mom. We've had our ups and downs. However, even when I was really mad at you and stubbornly blew things off that you said, I knew and know that you love me. And yes I DO trust you. Thanks for all that you do!

Bla Bla Bla

There will always be those random moments of my past sneaking up in an attempt to steal my joy
Always pushing me into a whirlwind of half-trusting HIS plans
However who can reside in Christ and still feel helpless by such attempts
Not one, by dying to self, there is freedom in consistent renewal
Who can feel thrown back by something dead to them now
There is freedom in proclaiming that HE is bigger than lessons learned
And so we wait because we know that "the end of a matter is better than its beginning (Eccl. 7:8)

Because joy is found when we wreck, when we're totaled, realizing that were helpless without HIM
Joy is sustainable, happiness is fleeting.

The unknown

The unknown, the issues in our lives that we wonder about on a daily basis.
Wondering about the outcome and whether what and who we're involved with is worth our time.
Yet we can all agree that we are where we're at for a distinct purpose.
That purpose for God to know and us to wait and seek out.
And keep from placing things in categories and trying to cross the finish line before his timing
His perfect timing, proven over and over better than our own.
